GP Scheepers, PhD, is a seasoned professional in operations management and food production, currently serving as Betriebsleiter/Produktionsleiter at Mäder Kräuter AG since March 2024. Previously, GP Scheepers held the position of Production Operations Manager at YASAI, focusing on planning and the development of procedures and operational workflows. With extensive experience at INFARM in various roles related to global operations and plant specialization, GP Scheepers has contributed to food production initiatives from April 2020 to January 2023. Academic contributions include a role as Junior Scientist at the University of Stellenbosch and as a Research Officer at the South African Forestry Company (SAFCOL). GP Scheepers completed a PhD in Forest Science and Natural Resource Management at the University of Stellenbosch, in addition to an MSc in Forestry Science and a BSc in Forestry and Natural Resource Sciences from the same institution.
