Sjoerd van Den Berg

Sjoerd Van Den Berg is an experienced controls engineer with a career spanning over three decades in the engineering and packaging machinery sectors. Currently, Sjoerd has been with Madern Group since October 2014, where responsibilities include designing and programming controls for die cutters using Siemens S7 and Bosch Rexroth technologies. Prior experience includes roles as a service engineer at Complimac Venray B.V., focusing on control design and software maintenance for packaging machinery, and as a software engineer at LAN Handling Systems, where software engineering for handling systems was a primary task. From March 1997 to September 2011, Sjoerd served as Service/Development Manager at Dl Packaging, overseeing customer relations and service troubleshooting for refurbished packaging machines. Sjoerd's extensive background also includes maintaining CNC machinery at KKE BV and fire detection systems at Chubb Lips. Sjoerd holds an engineering degree in electronics from Biesbosch College, earned between 1987 and 1991.
