Ondrej Hrušovský

Lead Programmer at MADFINGER Games, a.s.

Ondrej Hrušovský has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Ondrej started as a UI programmer at Kiscan GUI Framework in 2013 and then worked as a programmer and co-author at Ideas Unbound Studio, where they designed and implemented various gameplay features for the game Space Shock. In 2014, they joined Shangri-La Game Studios as a gameplay programmer and later became a part of RTT Game, where they developed their own stealth RTT game powered by Unreal Engine 4.

In 2015, they worked as an Unreal Engine C++ developer at Evotr Pty Ltd, and in 2017, they joined We Make Games as a software engineer, focusing on Unreal Engine C++ development. Ondrej then became the CTO of We Make Games before moving on to Claymore Game Studios in 2020. At Claymore Game Studios, they served as a senior programmer and later as a lead programmer. Ondrej played a significant role in developing the next Commandos game, including core gameplay systems, UI, AI, vehicles, navigation, and networking.

In 2023, Ondrej Hrušovský joined MADFINGER Games as a lead programmer.

Ondrej Hrušovský pursued their education at the Secondary Electrotechnical School in Piešťany from 2011 to 2015, focusing on Electrotechnics & Computer Networks. Following this, they attended the University of Komenský in Bratislava from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics.
