Lana Romano

Lana Romano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lana started their career as a Senior Accountant at Park Communications Inc, where they prepared financial statements for holding companies and handled various financial reconciliations. Lana then joined Emerson Power Transmission as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, where they posted cash receipts and resolved outstanding account issues with clients. Later, they worked at Lifetime Benefit Solutions, Inc. as an Accountant/Financial Billing Analyst, responsible for collecting and paying monthly premiums for over 1000 clients. Here, they also implemented a more efficient payment process using ACH. Most recently, Lana served as a Staff Accountant at The Arc of Madison Cortland, where they conducted month-end closing and analysis, bank reconciliations, and budgeting. Additionally, they reviewed and processed accounts payable, verified purchase orders, and reconciled prepaid expenses, staff advances, and accrued liabilities. Alongside their professional experience, Lana served in the NY Air National Guard as a Logistics-Air Transportation Specialist, overseeing the inspection, documentation, packaging, loading, and unloading of military aircraft. Lana also trained members on passenger processing and TSA scanner operation.

Additionally, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the same institution.
