Sam Mencoff is co-CEO of MDP. Prior to co-founding MDP, he was with First Chicago Venture Capital for 11 years. He was elected 21st Chancellor of Brown University in 2016 after having served on the Brown Corporation, initially on the Board of Trustees, and subsequently on the Board of Fellows, since 2003. He is an emeritus member of the Board of Overseers of the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. Sam serves as a Commissioner of the National Portrait Gallery, and is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a director of Packaging Corporation of America, World Business Chicago, and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
