Allen Couey has over 19 years of work experience in various roles within the information technology industry. Allen currently serves as the Director of IT Infrastructure at Madison Gas and Electric since March 2019. Prior to this, they worked at QBE Insurance where they held multiple positions including Vice President of Hosting Services and IT Operations Manager. Allen also served as the Mainframe and Midrange Manager, AVP Senior Infrastructure Service Design Manager, Infrastructure Engineering Manager, and Infrastructure Engineer at QBE Insurance. Before joining QBE Insurance, Allen worked as an IT Contractor at MortgageIT and as a Computer Tech at Best Buy. Allen began their career in 2001 at USMC as a Sergeant.
Allen Couey completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2010, where they obtained an MBA degree with a field of study in IT Management. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2008, they attended the Wisconsin School of Business and earned a BBA degree with a field of study in Information Systems.
