Laughlin Ryan is an accomplished undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience. As the Editorial Director and Co-Founder of UNCUT at UVA, Laughlin also served as Vice President from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, Laughlin contributes as a volunteer with ACES, tutoring middle school students in math and science, and at Madison House, supporting patients at the Emily Couric Cancer Center. As a Team Impact Fellow, Laughlin organizes events for children with chronic illnesses matched to UVA varsity teams. Laughlin is also a dedicated member of the UVA Varsity Women's Soccer team, committing over 25 hours a week to training and team activities. Previous research experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Bayliss Lab. Education was initiated at Myers Park High School, where Laughlin completed the International Baccalaureate program.
