Sarah Nustad

Sarah Nustad is currently a Clinic Assistant at Bread of Healing Free Clinic, where responsibilities include patient intake, appointment navigation, triage, and lab requisitions, while fostering cooperative relationships within healthcare teams. In addition, Sarah serves as a Medical Scribe at Madison Medical Affiliates, focusing on patient intake and documentation of medical history. Previous roles include overseeing team management and training as the Information Guide Coordinator at Campus and Visitor Relations, as well as contributions as a Paid Student Researcher at UW Health, where unique protocols for immunohistochemistry were developed. Educationally, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by experience in advanced genetics through a discussion leader role in a summer course.
