Annie Weatherby-Flowers has extensive experience in community engagement and coordination, currently serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Madison Public Library since April 2017, representing the library and advocating for under-resourced neighborhoods. Concurrently, Annie has worked for the City of Madison since 1999 in various roles, including Investigator/Conciliator and Education/Outreach Coordinator within the Department of Civil Rights, focusing on training and community outreach on issues such as discrimination and diversity. Previous experience includes a position as a Chemical Abuse Specialist II at the Mental Health Center of Dane County and a Community Organizer role with the West End Community Association. Annie holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Adult Learning and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, specializing in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, both from Edgewood College.
