David Wittels

David Wittels is a seasoned private equity professional currently serving as Managing Partner and President of Madison River Capital since February 2022. With extensive experience in the field, David has held significant positions such as Board Member at PM Pediatrics since October 2012, and President of Jefferson River Capital from October 2016 to February 2022. Previous roles include Partner and Head of Private Equity at Scopia Capital Management LP from March 2013 to September 2016, and Senior Managing Director and Founder of Diamond Castle Holdings from September 2004 to December 2012. David began a long-standing career in private equity at Dlj Merchant Banking, where responsibilities included Managing Director and Vice President from September 1986 to July 2004. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from The Wharton School, completed between 1983 and 1986.
