Hans Kuhnlenz

Hans Kuhnlenz has a diverse work experience, starting from 1999 when they worked as the Director of Corporate Development & Regulatory Affairs at Fantasy Island Resort Group - Fiji / Roatan. Hans then became the CEO of SCI-OPS LLC, where they led the venture strategy of a consulting firm. In 2001, Hans volunteered for national service and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, leading combat troops during Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Hans continued their military career until 2006, serving as a battalion and division staff officer for the 1st Infantry Division. After leaving the Army, they joined Agility Logistics as the Director of Business Development - Defense & Government Services, where they successfully led complex federal capture opportunities. In 2007, they joined Lex Global LLC as an Attorney at Law, specializing in advising defense contractors on legal and business matters. Hans then became a Partner at Rubin and Rudman LLP, providing anti-corruption counsel to business executives and foreign governments. Currently, Hans works as an Attorney at Law at Lex Global, LLC, while also holding the position of Director of Business Development at both Atlantean Global, LLC and Madison Street Capital, where they focus on M&A sell-side opportunities and raising capital for clients in the lower middle market.

Hans first pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (International Relations) at The University of Texas at Arlington. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to earn a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. Following this, they pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Government Procurement Law from The George Washington University Law School.

Continuing their education, Hans completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Litigation & Dispute Resolution from The George Washington University Law School. Hans then obtained their Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Boston University, specializing in International Business Law.

Hans further enhanced their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Hans also completed a Masters degree in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland.

In addition to their academic achievements, Hans has obtained various certifications. Hans is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, having been admitted to the Supreme Court of Arizona in March 2018. Hans is also a member of the Supreme Court Bar, having been admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States in November 2016. Furthermore, they hold a certification from the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, having been admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in June 2007.

To further their understanding of global security and conflict, Hans pursued a Masters degree in Global Security & Conflict from Arizona State University, which they completed in 2021.
