Douglas McBride has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Douglas started their career as the Co-Owner of McBride Studio and Gallery in 1991 and held this role until 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they worked as a Health Professions Advisor at BYU-Idaho. In 2010, they joined Madison Memorial Hospital as the Volunteer Services Manager until 2011. Douglas then transitioned to the role of Marketing / Public Relations Director at the same company from 2011 to 2018. From 2018 onwards, they have been serving as the Executive Director of Business Development at Madison Memorial Hospital.

Douglas McBride obtained their education in a progressive manner, achieving a variety of degrees in different institutions. In 1983, they attended Ricks College, where they earned an Associate's degree with a focus on General Studies, specifically emphasizing in Business. After completing their time at Ricks College in 1987, Douglas pursued higher education at Weber State University. Douglas attended from 1988-1990 and accomplished a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Lastly, in 2009, Douglas enrolled in Brigham Young University and diligently worked towards obtaining their Masters in Public Administration, which they successfully completed in 2012.
