Chris Stephenson has an extensive background in the entertainment industry. Chris began their career in 1996 as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for House of Blues. In 2001, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of Sound North America. In 2003, they founded Antenna USA, LLC, where they served as CEO and entertainment industry linchpin bridging brands with live entertainment. In 2006, they joined Microsoft as the General Manager of Global Entertainment. From 2009 to 2011, they served as Chief Marketing Officer for Interscope Records, where they oversaw marketing for leading artists such as Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, U2, and Far East Movement. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Chief Marketing Officer of SFX Entertainment, Inc., a live entertainment company which owned industry benchmark festivals. During this time, they also worked as a Brand Consultant for Anheuser-Busch and Pernod Ricard. In 2015, they joined CR8 as a Brand Incubator. Finally, in 2016, they co-founded Madre Mezcal, a unique ensamble mezcal driven by the spirit of adventure for the culturally curious.
Chris Stephenson obtained a BA Hons in French & Economics from the University of Lancashire between 1983 and 1987. Chris also has a TEFL Teaching English As A Foreign Language certification from TEFL International.
