Carl Gibbons

Carl Gibbons brings extensive experience in market access and health economics within the pharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Head of Market Access at Madrigal Pharmaceuticals since August 2025, Carl supports the commercialization of innovative treatments in the UK and beyond. Prior roles include Director of Market Access & Reimbursement at ADVANZ PHARMA, and Director of Market Access and Reimbursement at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, among other significant positions at Camurus, LEO Pharma, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Celgene, and Schering-Plough. Carl's background in health economics is supported by an MSc in Public Health (Health Economics) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Additionally, Carl has engaged in research and teaching at institutions such as the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Deakin University.
