Belén Mainer serves as the Director of the Videogames Department at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria since October 2005, overseeing the coordination and planning of university programs and courses, while also contributing as a professor in the Videogames and Journalism Departments. Additionally, Mainer is a member of the Arts and Humanities Verification Committee at Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d and is involved in the Popular Culture Research Team in Social Media at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Previous experience includes coordinating the Communication Department at Ibermática from 2008 to 2014 and working as an Online and Television Content Editor for CNN+, CUATRO, and SOGECABLE from 2004 to 2008. Mainer holds a PhD SUMMA CUM LAUDE in Communication Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, along with multiple advanced degrees in related fields.
