Julio Fernández-Gayoso Mediero is a seasoned business innovation coach and international expansion advisor currently working at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) since July 2018, where contributions include coaching over 60 startup CEOs funded by the EU EIC program. Additionally, as a StartUp Advisor and business mentor at the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d since April 2015, Julio oversees internationalization and digital transformation modules within the Business Mentoring Network. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Microsoft, where Julio was the Cloud DevOps sales lead for EMEA and director of solution sales for DevOps Cloud in Western Europe, and extensive tenure at IBM in various managerial capacities focused on data management tools across EMEA and in Spain and Portugal. Julio holds advanced degrees from INSEAD, IE Business School, and Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, specializing in business strategy, management, and economics.
