Guido Maune

Guido Maune has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Guido currently serves as the Managing Director at Maersk Container Industry. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board at the German Chamber of Commerce in China | South & Southwest, where they focused on improving network between companies and generating new ideas. Before that, Guido held the position of General Manager at Melitta and also worked as a Management Consultant & Coach as a self-employed individual. Guido has also held senior leadership positions at Hella Lighting China, Volkswagen FAW Platfom Co. Ltd., Foshan Branch, and Volkswagen Group China. Additionally, Guido has experience in production management, supply chain management, and project management at ZF Group and Volkswagen Consulting.

Guido Maune's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications obtained at various institutions and organizations. In 1990, they completed their Industriemechaniker Fachrichtung Betriebstechnik degree at Wilhelm Karmann GmbH & Co. KG. Later, they attended Paderborn University and earned a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Fachrichtung Maschinenbau from 1993 to 1997. In 2000, Guido pursued further studies at Paderborn University and obtained a Dr. rer.-pol. degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften by 2002. Guido also attended HanBan during an unspecified timeframe, where they studied Chinesische Studien and obtained an HSK 4 certification by the end of 2020.

In the field of coaching and cross-cultural leadership, Guido pursued their education at various institutions. In 2015, they enrolled in the Global Coaching Company, Asia Coaching Center Hong Kong & Beijing and earned an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certificate in Executive Coaching by 2016. Guido continued to enhance their coaching skills by obtaining a Cultural Orientations Framework Certification in Leading and Coaching Across Cultures from Philippe Rosinski & Company in 2021. Moreover, they are currently enrolled in the Asia Innovative Coaching Institute, working towards a Professional Corporate Coach certification in Corporate Coaching from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, Guido is pursuing a Certfied Business Coach (CBC) designation in Coaching from the World Association of Business Coaching (WABC), which they expect to complete by 2022. Finally, in the same year, they plan to acquire expertise in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) by attending Motivate Community's NLP Practitioner program.
