Subodh Kundargi

Subodh Kundargi is a seasoned marine engineering professional with extensive experience in vessel performance and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Vessel Performance Manager at Maersk Tankers since July 2022, Subodh previously held the position of Plan Approval Surveyor at the Indian Register of Shipping from February 2020 to June 2022. Subodh's journey in the maritime industry began at The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., progressing from Junior Engineer to 2nd Engineer from May 1999 to April 2008. Subsequent roles included Chief Engineer positions on board VLGCs at BW LPG from July 2014 to November 2019 and Maersk Group from May 2008 to March 2014, where Subodh was instrumental in operations as both a Chief Engineer and a 2nd Engineer. Additionally, Subodh contributed as a Technical Superintendent at Maersk Tankers for a brief period in 2009, playing a key role in establishing the Technical Operations department for LPG vessels in Singapore. Subodh holds a degree in engineering, earned between 1994 and 1998.
