Emiliano Austi

Emiliano Austi is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in naval architecture and fleet regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Director and Head of Naval Architecture & Fleet Regulatory Compliance at A.P. Moller - Maersk since July 2014, Emiliano manages a team of over 25 experts, overseeing vessel design and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Emiliano has previously held significant leadership roles, including Chairman of the TopTier project at MARIN, and Senior Surveyor in Charge for Lloyd's Register, where responsibilities included team management and coordination of statutory activities. Emiliano's educational background includes a Mini MBA from IMD and a degree in Marine Technology from Delft University of Technology, complemented by diverse project management experience across several firms in the shipbuilding industry.
