John Powers

John Powers has extensive experience in technology and leadership roles spanning several large organizations. Currently retired, John served as the Head of Enterprise Architecture and Office of the CIO at Maersk Line from 2013 to 2023. Prior to joining Maersk, John held significant positions at Dell, including CIO and Vice President of Dell Financial Services, where John managed IT operations and drove strategic initiatives across various divisions. John also served in senior roles at ACS-inc and Citigroup, focusing on technology infrastructure and operations, and was instrumental in managing large teams and budgets. John holds a Master of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Econometrics and has pursued a Ph.D. in the same field.
