Navneet Kapoor

Navneet Kapoor is the Chief Technology & Information Officer at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Navneet has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on digital transformation, technology management, and shared services. Prior to their current role, Navneet served as the Chief Transformation Officer at A.P. Moller - Maersk, responsible for driving the company's transformation agenda. Navneet also served as the Global Head of Maersk's Shared Service Centers, where they led and transformed the centers into a strategic enabler of Maersk's growth agenda. In addition to their work at A.P. Moller - Maersk, Navneet has also served as the Chair of NASSCOM's Global In-house Center (GIC) National Council and as a member of NASSCOM's Executive Council.

Navneet Kapoor studied chemical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Navneet then pursued a PhD and MS in engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. After working in industry for several years, they returned to academia and obtained a master of business administration from the University of Chicago.

Navneet Kapoor reports to Søren Skou, CEO. Navneet Kapoor works with Patrick Jany - EVP & CFO, Jeppe Høier - Partner, Maersk Growth, and Vincent Clerc - EVP & CEO, Ocean and Logistics. Some direct reports include Holly Landry - Chief Data Officer, Andy Powell - CISO, and Spencer Anderson - Chief Engineer.
