Michael Dodwell

Michael Dodwell has held a variety of roles in the IT and DevOps industry since 2009. From 2009-2011, they worked as a Senior Technical Officer for Anywebcam.com, where they managed 33 servers at Manhattan, NYC, USA. In 2011, they joined Blue Central as a Senior Unix Systems Engineer, where they were part of the 4th level team and managed Dell servers with networking provided by Jupiter networks. In 2012, they worked at Australia Post as a UNIX Technical Operations Lead, responsible for bringing a new Digital Mailbox solution to market. Michael also worked at UXC as a Solutions Architect, where they assisted in providing managed services to the Victorian Government's Worksafe and TAC initiatives. In 2014, they served as a DevOps Consultant at both Geoplex and Outware Mobile, where they created and automated server environments and solved directional problems with build environments, respectively. In 2015, they joined Accenture Australia as a DevOps & Agile Capability Manager. From 2018-2020, they worked at Console Group as a Senior DevOps Engineer and at Maestro.io as a Director Of Operations and Senior DevOps Lead, where they automated the creation of GKE clusters and solved complex scaling issues due to video streaming events.

Michael Dodwell completed a Certificate IV in Information Technology from Hales College in 1997, followed by a CCNA from Victoria University in 2000, both in the field of Information Technology.
