Brian Burt has worked in various roles in the financial services industry since 1996. In that time, they have held positions as a Sr. Manager at Charles Schwab & Company, a Product Manager at Active Decisions, and an Independent Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager for various companies. In 2006, they founded and became the CEO of Financial Circles. In 2008, they founded MaestroConference, where they served as Founder, Product & Engineering Manager, and CEO. MaestroConference earned $8MM in revenue from a globally respected client base, and was the first conferencing product to bring breakouts to virtual conferences. During their time at Charles Schwab & Company, Brian earned several awards, including two presented by the company and enterprise Presidents.
Brian Burt received their M.S. in Math Econ / Mathematics from the University of Minnesota between 1990 and 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Liberal Arts, Mathematics, and Spanish from Carleton College between 1985 and 1989.
