Lauren Alexander, MBA, has extensive experience in marketing and leadership roles. Lauren is currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing at MaestroQA since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Mapistry as the Chief Marketing Officer from February 2020 to October 2022 and as the Vice President of Marketing & Demand Generation from February 2018 to February 2020. From March 2016 to February 2018, they held the position of Global Head of Marketing at Culture Amp.
Before Culture Amp, Lauren worked at Kama Group, where they held various roles including Advisor from July 2015 to December 2017 and Vice President of Marketing & Growth from August 2015 to March 2016. Their responsibilities at Kama Group included overseeing the creation, execution, and optimization of user acquisition and growth strategies across multiple channels.
Prior to Kama Group, Lauren held the position of Vice President of Marketing at PandaDoc from June 2014 to August 2015, where they designed and implemented a new lead management process and oversaw various marketing activities.
Lauren also gained significant experience at Granicus, Inc., where they served as the Vice President of Marketing & Demand Generation from December 2011 to December 2014, contributing 85% of the sales funnel. Lauren also held roles as Director of Marketing, Director of Product Marketing, Marketing Communications Manager, and Public Relations Coordinator at Granicus, Inc.
Additionally, Lauren has served as a Board Member at SF IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) from August 2008 to June 2012.
Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated expertise in various areas including branding, digital marketing, content strategy, SEO/SEM, and business development. Lauren has contributed to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for, with notable achievements such as driving a 3000% increase in app downloads at Kama Group.
Lauren Alexander, MBA, has an extensive educational background. Lauren earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from Saint Mary's College of California from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Law & Society and English at UC Santa Barbara from 2002 to 2006.
In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained additional certifications. In November 2012, they received a Certificate of Completion in Management Skills for New Supervisors from the American Management Association. In September 2012, they participated in a Seminar in European Business - MBA Study Tour at La Salle BCN.
