Sebastiano Lombardo

Sebastiano Lombardo has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sebastiano is currently the Director of Global Business Development at Maffeis Engineering, where they began in April 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Regional Managing Director at Maffeis Engineering from January 2020 to March 2023. Sebastiano also holds academic positions, working as an Adjunct Associate Professor at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway since September 2020, and at BI Norwegian Business School since May 2016. Sebastiano was previously a Partner at Venture New Way AS from January 2019 to February 2020, and the Head of Innovation for the Bispevika project at AF Gruppen from May 2017 to July 2018. Sebastiano also held various roles at Norconsult AS, including Head of Innovation from January 2013 to May 2017, and Innovation Programme Manager from September 2009 to December 2012. In addition, they completed their PhD at BI Norwegian Business School from January 2010 to December 2013, focusing on creativity and creativity management in the development of business strategies and co-creation workshops. Sebastiano started their career as a Senior Adviser at SINTEF ICT from March 2001 to August 2009 and worked as a Business Development Manager at Pera from February 2006 to February 2007.

Sebastiano Lombardo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Strategic Management from BI Norwegian Business School, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Project Management, Public Relations, and Cross Cultural Management from the same institution between 2001 and 2006. Sebastiano also holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which they earned from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, Lombardo is a certified instructor in Six Thinking Hats and Lateral Thinking from The Holst Group, although the specific years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
