Daniel Hasselberg

Co-founder, CEO at MAG Interactive

Daniel Hasselberg began their work experience in 1997 as a System Developer at ELLEMTEL, where they focused on creating concepts and developing prototypes for IP-based services. Daniel then moved on to Connect Things AB in 1999, starting as an Application Developer and eventually becoming responsible for technical pre-sales in the EMEA region. In 2001, Connect Things was acquired by AirClic, and Hasselberg took on the role of Technical Sales / Community Manager, overseeing technical pre-sales for EMEA and building the developer community. In 2003, they co-founded MAG and served as a Product Manager, leading a team in developing an e-commerce platform for DRM protected music. During this time, the MAG platform served over 2 million users in the Nordics and Baltics. From 2013 to 2020, Hasselberg was an Advisor at G-Loot, providing guidance in the gaming industry. In 2015, they became a Board Member at Delinquent Interactive, now known as MAG Brighton. In 2018, they joined Sonetel as a Board Member, contributing to the development of virtual phone numbers and AI-supported customer service. Lastly, in 2020, Hasselberg became an Angel Investor at EGD Angel Syndicate. Throughout their career, they have consistently held leadership roles and demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Daniel Hasselberg attended Uppsala University from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering physics. During their time at Uppsala University, their studies focused on mathematics, physics, and computer software.
