Giorgio Cantù

Senior Art Director In New Games at MAG Interactive

Giorgio Cantù has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2000, they worked as a freelance background artist for the Italian animation movie Aida degli Alberi. From 2002 to 2014, they were a Graphic Designer, Identity Consultant, and Art Director at Rithuset AB. In 2005, they joined Edizioni BD e J-POP Manga as an Art Director and later became a co-founder of the company in 2007. In 2010, they worked as a 2D Artist on SEGA RENEGADE OPS at Avalanche Studios. In 2014, they joined MAG Interactive as the Art Director for Ruzzle and later took on various roles such as Game Artist, Art Director, and Creative Lead for new games. Giorgio also co-founded POPstore in 2009, where they currently hold a position. Throughout their career, Giorgio Cantù has showcased their skills in visual development, game art, and UI design.

Giorgio Cantù began their education at Liceo Scientifico Augusto Monti from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Diploma in Science, Literature, Math, and Philosophy. Following this, they attended Albertina Academy of Fine Arts from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Master's degree in Fine Arts.
