Alan Elliott

Alan Elliott has a diverse work experience that spans over different roles and companies. Alan currently works as a Lead Software Engineer at MAG (Airports Group) since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at TalkTalk as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2017 to July 2019, where they focused on Database technologies, specializing in MSSQL. Alan also held roles as a Senior SQL DB Developer from April 2015 to October 2017, SQL DB Developer from August 2013 to April 2015, and Junior SQL DB Developer from January 2012 to August 2013, all at TalkTalk.

Before joining TalkTalk, Alan worked at Capita | Software Services as a Helpdesk Consultant from December 2007 to December 2011, and at Alphameric as a Level 2 Support Consultant from June 2004 to December 2007.

Alan Elliott attended Ridge Danyers College from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained their A-Level qualifications in Computing, Maths, and Physics. In 2001, they enrolled at The University of Salford and completed a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer and Video Games in 2004. Alan also obtained several certifications from Microsoft in 2019, including Exam 768: Developing SQL Data Models, MCSA: SQL 2016 Business Intelligence Development - Certified 2019, and Exam 767: Implementing a Data Warehouse.
