Thusitha Dinesh possesses extensive experience in quantity surveying and contract management, currently serving as a Contract Manager at Maga Engineering (Private) Limited since August 2010, following a role as Senior Quantity Surveyor at the same company. Prior to this, Thusitha Dinesh worked as a Quantity Surveyor at AL JABER L E G T ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING (ALEC) from September 2007 to February 2010, and has a foundational role as a Quantity Surveyor at Maga Engineering (Private) Limited from September 2001 to August 2007. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management from the University of Vocational Technology (expected March 2024), a Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management from the same institution (2014-2016), and a National Certificate in Technology - Quantity Surveying, Construction Management from the National Vocational Education College (2004).

Since its establishment in 1984, Maga has been an active participant in the construction industry in Sri Lanka. Maga possesses the most experienced group of construction project managers of the country, consisting of over 70 senior project managers and over 300 graduate engineers in the fields of civil, mechanical, electrical, materials, mining and earth resources engineering; together with designers, planners, quantity surveyors , technicians, and over 8000 craftsmen.
