Florian Maurel has had several work experiences in the field of robotics and software engineering. Florian worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Magazino GmbH from January 2023 to present. Prior to that, they held the position of Robot Software Engineer at Magazino GmbH from September 2018 to January 2023, and also had a brief stint in the same role from April 2018 to September 2018. Before joining Magazino GmbH, Florian worked as a Robotics Engineer at Copenhagen Robots from April 2017 to July 2017. Florian started their career as an Electronic Technician at LAAS-CNRS from April 2015 to June 2015.
Florian Maurel pursued their education from 2013 to 2015 at IUT Paul Sabatier, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Electronical Engineering and Computer Science. Following this, Florian enrolled at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III - UPSSITECH école d'ingénieurs from 2015 to 2018. Florian completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Robotic and Interactive Systems. In January 2018, Florian also obtained a certification in English proficiency, achieving a score of 830 points in the TOEIC examination from the TOEIC Program.
