Moritz Tenorth has a diverse work experience in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. Moritz held various positions at Magazino GmbH, starting as the Head of Software Development from June 2015 to February 2017, and later becoming the Chief Technology Officer from March 2017 to present.

Prior to their time at Magazino GmbH, they worked as a freelance consultant for Siemens Novel Businesses GmbH, specializing in robotics and AI from September 2014 to May 2015.

Moritz also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bremen from January 2013 to December 2014, managing the RoboHow project and focusing on knowledge representation and reasoning systems for autonomous mobile manipulation robots.

Before that, they held positions at TU München, including serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2011 to December 2012 and as a PhD candidate from August 2007 to June 2011. Moritz'swork at TU München involved knowledge processing for autonomous robots, web-enabled robotics, knowledge-based analysis of human activity data, and the definition of the knowledge interchange format for the RoboEarth project.

Moritz Tenorth also worked as a Research Scientist at ATR from July 2012 to November 2012 and as a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University from February 2009 to May 2009.

Moritz started their career as a Research Intern at Accenture from February 2006 to May 2007.

Throughout their career, Moritz Tenorth has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of robotics and has held various leadership and research roles.

Moritz Tenorth obtained a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, attending from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at RWTH Aachen University from 2001 to 2007, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Additionally, they spent a year studying Robotics and Embedded Systems at ENSTA Paris from 2005 to 2006.
