Safaa EL Hajj

Safaa EL Hajj has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their professional journey as a Summer Intern at Khatib & Alami in 2016. They then interned as a Software Engineer at LibanPost in 2017. Safaa also worked as a Computer Programming Tutor at Lebanese American University during the same year. In 2018, they served as a Quality Assurance Intern at Health In Motion.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Safaa joined Lebanese American University in 2019 as a Laboratory Instructor. While there, they also conducted research as a Master Thesis Student. Their research focused on low light image enhancement techniques, proposing a new methodology using CNN and gamma correction to correct uneven illumination in images.

In 2021, Safaa interned as a Robotics Engineering Intern at BMW Group. They developed and implemented image enhancement features for logistics robots, gaining hands-on experience with python, ROS, Docker, and version control tools.

Currently, Safaa works as a Quality Assurance Robotics Engineer at Magazino GmbH, starting in 2022.

Safaa's work experience exhibits their proficiency in various technical skills, adaptability to new tasks, and their dedication to research and development.

Safaa EL Hajj started their education in 2013 at Lebanese American University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering. This program lasted for five years until 2018. After completing their undergraduate studies, Safaa went on to further expand their knowledge in the field by pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at the same university. Safaa began this program in 2019 and is expected to complete it in 2022.
