David Salmon

David Salmon has worked in the engineering field since 2011. David began with a Work Experience role at CLS Civil Engineering, Demolition & Survey in 2011. In 2014, they were a Summer Intern at Arm, where they worked in the processor verification department of the CPU division. David then worked as a Summer Intern at Rolls-Royce in 2015. In 2016, they were an Industrial Placement at Rolls-Royce, where they worked in Marine Power Systems on a variety of high-power electrical machinery. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as an Electrical Control Systems Engineer and Graduate Engineering Trainee at Rolls-Royce, developing control systems for hybrid electric aerospace generator demonstrator platforms and constructing prototype fluid test rigs for novel sensing systems. Currently, they are an Electronic Engineer at Magdrive.

David Salmon received their Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London in 2017. In 2019, they obtained a Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician certification from Rescue 3 International. In 2017, they obtained a Basic Expedition Leader certification from SPORTS LEADERS UK LIMITED.
