Kristin Demeny

Kristin Demeny currently serves as the Internal Communications Manager at Magellan Aerospace Limited since November 2022. Prior experience includes positions as the Director of Digital Communications and Strategic Media Relations at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and as a Senior Communications Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Kristin has also held roles at the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing as Manager of Digital Media and Communications, and worked with the City of Burlington on the Mundialization Committee, focusing on promoting international understanding and peace. Kristin is the founder of GBS Meningitis Canada, advocating for awareness and education regarding Group B Streptococcus. Additional experience includes various roles in media and communications with Cogeco Connexion and Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club, among others. Kristin holds degrees in Broadcast Journalism from Loyalist College and Clinical Master Herbalist from the Naturopathic Institute.
