Carolyn Becker

Carolyn Becker serves as the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Magellan Health since August 2004, providing comprehensive legal counsel on operational issues, including credentialing, peer review, and regulatory compliance, while also drafting and negotiating provider contracts and regulatory amendments across the nation. Prior to this, Carolyn Becker held the position of Senior Counsel at Trans Health (formerly Integrated Health Services) from 1998 to 2004, advising on compliance and patient care matters within the long-term care operations division. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate at the Law Offices of Nomiki B. Weitzel from 1995 to 1998. Carolyn Becker earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
