Susan Johnson has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Susan started off as an Open Heart ICU Registered Nurse at North Ridge Hospital in 1979, before transitioning to a Clinical Specialist role at Upjohn Pharmaceuticals in 1981. Susan then worked as an Account Manager/Clinical Specialist at Procter & Gamble in 1982. In 1986, they joined Novametrix Medical Systems, where they served as the Midwest Sales Manager and later as the Florida/Caribbean Territory Sales Manager. During their time at Novametrix, they were responsible for launching various medical products and driving adoption through physician and clinician training. Susan continued to advance their career by serving as the Eastern Sales Director at Cherney Medical in 1993 and as the Director of Sales/Business Development at Araz Group in 1994. In 1995, they founded Magellan Medical Services and acted as the Founder/President until 2005. In 2005, Susan became the CEO of Magellan Medical Technology Consultants, Inc. Susan has also recently taken on the role of TEEN EntrepreneHER Mentor at Luca and The Five Girls, where they help mentor young entrepreneurs in the pet treat industry.

Susan Johnson holds an MBA in Venture Management from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business. Susan also has a BA in Double Major - Finance, Marketing, and Business Administration from the same university. Additionally, they hold a degree as a Registered Nurse from Augsburg/Lutheran Deaconess - School of Nursing.
