Björn Naeslund

Björn Naeslund has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Björn started their career as a Researcher at Stockholm University, specializing in fields such as Ecotoxicology and Agent Based Modeling and Simulation. After that, they worked for Skatteverket as an SOA Consultant, where they played a crucial role in establishing a new integration platform based on Oracle Service Bus 11g. Björn then joined Oracle as a Senior Consultant, working on various SOA based integration projects for clients ranging from telcos to retail and governmental agencies. Björn also worked at ICA as an integration developer, where they contributed to information architecture and played a development lead role in a large integration project. Additionally, they worked at Connecta as a Tech Consultant and Integration Architect/Developer, taking responsibility for designing and developing integrations for Oracle Middleware products. Most recently, Björn worked at R2M as an IT Operations Manager, Solution Architect, and Tech Lead. Throughout their career, Björn has demonstrated expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and has a strong background in cloud integration strategy.

Björn Naeslund pursued their education with a strong focus on natural resources management and biology. In 1994, they enrolled at Stockholm University and completed their Master of Science degree in Biology in 1999. Building on their knowledge and passion for the subject, Björn continued their studies at the same university from 2001 to 2007, during which they obtained a PhLicentiate degree in Natural resources management.
