Ido Shimberg has been working since 2010, when they began serving as a Deputy Company Commander in the Israel Defense Forces. In 2020, they began working as a Teaching Assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Currently, they are employed as a Research and Development Engineer at Magenta Medical Ltd., a position they have held since 2022. In their role as Deputy Company Commander, Ido was responsible for managing a combat company of 90 combatants and 15 staff, as well as developing and leading the professional domain and leading, planning and commanding special operations using unique technology.
Ido Shimberg obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2021, after studying there from 2017 to 2021. Ido is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on fluid mechanics, at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and is expected to complete the degree in 2022.
