Michael D. Whiteside

Michael D. Whiteside has a varied work experience, beginning in 2017 with Commercial Coverage Insurance Agency as a Project Coordinator. In this role, they identified and penetrated high value new clients through extensive research and cold calling while demonstrating proficient customer service strategies. Michael D. also shadowed experienced insurance representatives on sales calls while performing diligent note taking.

In 2018, they began working for Sigma Pi Fraternity, International as Chapter President. In this role, they oversaw all chapter operations while modeling leadership and emphasizing the mission, vision, and core values of the organization. Michael D. also served as internal and external spokesperson for the chapter while interacting with university staff and faculty, alumni advisors, and international fraternity officers.

Also in 2018, Whiteside began working for Whiteside Concrete Construction as an Assistant Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, and Field Apprentice. In this role, they conducted budget processes and determined cost effectiveness at multiple different stages of design through estimating. Michael D. also planned, organized, and scheduled work, as well as performed concrete construction labor such as shooting shotcrete and pouring concrete.

In 2020, Whiteside began working for Hot Pie Media as Director of Sales. In this role, they conducted strategic sales and marketing campaigns to prospective, current, and previous clients to improve the company's operations and sales growth. Michael D. also coordinated high-level outside the box approaches to increase new business development and meet challenging goals, as well as aggressively developed national accounts and directly impacted customer success.

Currently, Whiteside is working for Magic Eden as Business Development & Partnerships.

Michael D. Whiteside obtained a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Mississippi between 2016 and 2020. Michael D. also obtained a Real Estate Sales Agent certification from the Texas Real Estate Commission in March 2022.
