Da Chen is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in perception data tool development and computer vision. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Magic Leap since October 2016, Da Chen leads projects focused on hand tracking, head pose, and generative AI. Prior experience includes roles at Lab126, where Da Chen contributed to video and image data collection tools, and at Electronics for Imaging, Inc., focusing on Linux kernel and image processing driver development. Additional roles at Cisco Systems, AYR Networks Inc., and Macromedia have honed skills in router switch development and Linux ASIC implementation.
