Martin Zahnert

Martin Zahnert is an experienced technology leader specializing in computer vision and algorithms, currently serving as Vice President of Computer Vision & Algorithms and Switzerland Site Lead at Magic Leap since February 2017. Previously, Martin held multiple leadership positions at Magic Leap, including Senior Director and Director of Computer Vision & Algorithms. As a co-founder and Head of Development at Dacuda AG, Martin contributed to the creation of a software-based real-time 3D reconstruction and SLAM engine for mobile devices, which led to the company's acquisition by Magic Leap. Early in the career, Martin gained experience as an intern at Alstom Power, focusing on robotic process automation for turbine blade reconditioning. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Robotics, Systems, and Control and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from ETH Zürich.
