Avril Jiao has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and investment industries. Avril is currently working as the Co-Founder and COO of Magic Lifescience since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Investor at The 21 Fund, a seed fund investing in Stanford Graduate School of Business startups.

During their time at Imperial College, Avril also achieved the United Kingdom Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

Avril's educational journey continued at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Avril is expected to complete this program in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Avril has obtained several certifications. Avril became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in July 2017.
