James Beshara

James Beshara is an experienced entrepreneur and investor. James is currently the Founder of Magic Mind, a productivity drink. James has been self-employed since 2013 as a startup investor, having invested in startups worth over $50Bn in market cap. In 2017, they were the Director of Product at Airbnb and an Advisor for Basic Income Research at Y Combinator. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Tilt, an award-winning social payments application, which was acquired by Airbnb. James also founded Dvelo in 2008, a non-profit poverty alleviation organization.

James Beshara attended Wake Forest University from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Economics, International Development and Policy. In 2012, they attended Y Combinator's Winter program. James also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they studied Development Economics and International Development.
