Janine Pickard-Green

Janine Pickard-Green has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Janine began their career as an Accounts Assistant at 12snap in 2000, followed by an Accounting Manager role at Psion in 2003. In 2007, they moved to Global Knowledge as a European, Middle East & Africa HQ Compliance Accountant and then a European Middle East & Africa HQ Management Accountant. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Morgan Stanley as a Business Consultant and at Keyrus as a Consultant. Currently, Janine is a FinOps Lead and Senior Product Manager/Business Analyst at MagicOrange, where they provide client-focused consulting on IT Financial Management solutions and supervises the design of new products.

Janine Pickard-Green has a diverse educational background. Janine obtained a Matric with Exemption from Queensburgh Girls High School in 1995, majoring in Maths, Biology, Physics, English, Afrikaans, and Art. In 1996, they received a Diploma in Business Computing from Coopers & Lybrand Computeach, and a Diploma in Desktop Publishing from Mediatek. Janine then went on to obtain an Associate Chartered Management Accountant from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2008. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including an Accredited Chartered Management Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant from CIMA in 2010, a Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2022, an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, and a FinOps Certified Professional from The Linux Foundation in 2021.
