Kevin Naidu

Kevin Naidu has worked in the software development industry for over 23 years. Kevin began their career in 1997 as a Software Developer at Sappi, where they worked on the company's in-house ERP system written in PICK and hosted on UNIX. Kevin also worked in a team to develop new manufacturing process management software in VB6 and Access for the paper plant. In 2000, they moved to FMI as a Senior Software Developer, where they were the lead developer of the company's insurance claims management system. In 2007, Kevin joined Sage as a Software Architect. In this role, they were responsible for leading the design and development of competitive cutting edge features in the company's financial reporting software product. Kevin also played an instrumental role in innovation, design and development of a custom in-memory database together with a in-memory financial reporting engine for use in the company's financial reporting product. In 2019, Kevin joined Blockwerx Technology as a Team Lead, Architect, and Full Stack Developer. Currently, they are working as a Full Stack Engineer at MagicOrange.

Kevin Naidu attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1993 to 1995 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science.
