Maria Frangos

Maria Frangos is a skilled professional in the field of theater, currently serving as Executive Assistant at California Shakespeare Theater and Dramaturg at Magic Theatre since January 2023. In addition to these roles, Maria has been an instructor at De Anza College since 2015 and a teaching artist at Berkeley Repertory Theatre since March 2014. Previous experience includes lecturing at UC Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2022, dramaturgy at Santa Cruz Shakespeare, directing education and outreach in 2014, and managing company operations from 2012 to 2013. Earlier positions include managing ticketing and audience services at La Jolla Playhouse from 1992 to 1998. Maria holds a Master's degree in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's degree in Literature/Writing, with additional training from the Berkeley Rep School of Theatre and UC San Diego.
