David Flores, M.S.

David Flores, M.S. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. David currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at MagicalBrands (MagicalButter) since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Specialist in Biology, Seed Germination at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company from June 2021 to January 2023. David also served as a Field Representative at Progressive Turnout Project from June 2020 to November 2020. In addition, they gained experience as a Transition Support at Native Roots Colorado from December 2019 to April 2020 and as a Horticulturist/Field Technician at Bristol Botanics from July 2019 to December 2019.

Before entering the industry, David conducted research as a Graduate Researcher at Purdue University from January 2017 to May 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Content Specialist/Social Media Manager at ShepCo Commercial Finishes in May 2017. David's earlier experience includes being a Research Assistant at William H. Daniel Research and Diagnostic Center - Purdue from July 2015 to December 2016, where they specialized in nutrient management, water conservation, and ecological safety.

In 2014, David gained experience as a Student Assistant Manager at Purdue Memorial Union Rack and Roll, and from June 2012 to December 2015, they served as a Shift Manager & Social Media Manager at Gayety's Chocolate & Ice Cream Company, where they developed sales strategies, managed social media interactions, and analyzed consumer demographics.

From 2017 to 2019, David Flores attended Purdue University - The Graduate School, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Horticulture. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they studied at Purdue University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Before their undergraduate studies, from 2011 to 2013, David attended the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities, where they received an Honors Diploma in General Studies.
