Shachar Ben-Or

Shachar Ben-Or has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. They are currently the Co-Founder of MagicYard, a position they began in January 2022. Prior to this, Shachar worked at Playtika as a Business Analytics Manager from May 2019 to March 2021, where they led the BA team for Slotomania, the company's top game. In 2014, Shachar joined Unilever and held multiple roles, including Data Analytics Manager from January 2017 to May 2019, where they managed the financial BI development team and implemented Oracle Hyperion software. As part of the Unilever Future Leaders Program from October 2014 to January 2017, Shachar worked as a Customer Development Financial Analyst and BI developer, responsible for merging internal and external market data to calculate customer profitability and conducting business cases. Prior to their corporate roles, Shachar served in the Israeli Navy from July 2008 to February 2013, where they held positions such as Patrol Ship Flotilla Commander, Training Officer, and Combat Patrol Ship Captain.

Shachar Ben-Or completed an International MBA - 'Sofaer' Program in Finance and Financial Management at Tel Aviv University from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, Shachar studied at the University of Haifa, earning a Multi-Disciplinary BA from the Naval Academy. The degree encompassed fields such as Business Management, Social Science, and Naval Studies. Additionally, in 2005 to 2008, Shachar attended the Israeli Naval Academy where they completed the Officers Course, specializing in Commanding Skills and Naval Warfare.
