Cristy McLennan

Cristy McLennan is an experienced professional in humanitarian and emergency response, currently serving as the Regional Programme Support Manager and Country Director for Sri Lanka at MAG (Mines Advisory Group) since March 2020. Previously, Cristy held positions as the Government Relations Manager at MAG, Humanitarian Director at CARE International Indonesia, and Strategic Partnerships Manager at MAG. Additional roles include leading a Rapid Response Team at CARE, serving as Deputy Country Director in Zimbabwe, and working with Save the Children Canada as a Senior Advisor in humanitarian efforts. Earlier career experiences include roles at the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, and the Canadian Red Cross. Cristy possesses a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
