Enrico Donati has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management. Enrico worked as Head of Global Procurement and Logistics at MAG (Mines Advisory Group), where they provided leadership and support for humanitarian mine action and weapons and ammunition management operations across 31 countries. Enrico also reviewed logistics management systems, improved supply chain operations, and enhanced organizational capacity. Prior to that, they served as Regional Head of Supply Chain for Western and Central Africa at Save the Children International, where they had functional and direct management responsibilities over multiple country offices. Enrico was responsible for developing regional supply and logistics strategies, improving procurement processes, and promoting innovation. Donati also had logistics management roles at Acción contra el Hambre and AdvMasters. Enrico gained procurement and logistics expertise during their time at IBM, where they held positions as a sourcing buyer and logistics expert. Earlier in their career, they worked as a logistics officer at Save the Children UK and held various roles at GVC Italia, Generatie Tanara Romania, and Publivideo 2 Srl.
Enrico Donati's education history is as follows:
In 2001, they began their studies at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they pursued a Laurea Triennale (Bachelor's degree) in Communication and Media Studies. Enrico completed this program in 2005.
From 2005 to 2008, Enrico continued their education at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and obtained a Laurea Specialistica (Master's degree) in Public, Social, and Political Communication.
In 2008, they enrolled in a Postgraduate Course in International Relations at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, which they completed in 2009.
During the same year, Enrico participated in a Summer School program at Sungkyunkwan University, focusing on Green Marketing and International Migrations.
Enrico also attended the IPESS European Spring School in 2009, where they studied the European dimension of soft security.
Their most recent educational endeavor took place from 2021 to 2022 at the ISRM - Institute of Strategic Risk Management. Enrico pursued a Level 6 Diploma in Strategic Risk & Crisis Management, focusing on Risks and Crisis Management.
